Well there you go bringing logic into the discussion.

 

The post was in good fun. MJ, as well as most others on the flatbed forum, knows this subject has come up many times before.

MJ is a pro, and a pro knows his business. It's extremely difficult to find fault with anything he does. And he hauls some loads that would have a lot of guys scratching their heads on securement. So whenever I get a chance to poke a little fun at him, I jump on it.

I do understand your point. Just want everyone to know that I was not telling MJ that he was not doing it right.

I overheard a driver saying it's legal to hook to the rub rail. He said since the stake pockets rated the rub rail must be.

And he said to put a 1/2 twist on straps to prevent flapping and chafing.
