Weatherford, TX at the Petro.
My Walmart load was voided, which I found out when I woke up at 0230 this morning. I guess they didn't like what time I was planning to pick it up.
Then I sat until about noon when I got a reposition plan taking me to the Lancaster terminal.
On the way I got my next real load. A whopping 300 miles to Houston, delivering at 2100 tomorrow night to a grocery place. That should be fun.
But since I was only being repositioned to Lancaster I didn't feel the need to get there tonight, so I stopped here where I would have good coffee in the morning.
I hate being stuck at a terminal for the night, so I consider myself lucky until tomorrow night. Houston near midnight, and not many places to park. Maybe the Sam's Club. My GPS tells me they allow overnight parking, but... anyone know if they really do?
My QC is really acting funny. Yesterday it had no connections for most of the day, then it got connected as the sun went down. It was still good until the sun came up this morning, then it lost the connections again. It's been on and off all day, mostly off. It was only by a momentary connection that I got the pplan, and I never got the text on my phone (which is strange as well).
Then as the sun started to set tonight the connections came back again.
It has been doing funny things since I got this truck. Some days it will be perfect, others it freaks out.
And I bought a new GPS today. The RM 530 to replace my 520, which I've had for a few years.
Good Night From II

Is there a Dayton next to Houston, TX?
I'm going to Grocers Supply in Houston, TX. -
-
If the Grocers Supply is the one at 3131 Holcombe Blvd there's parking at a staging area next to the check in shack. Look at the satellite view to the nw of the building. There's a staging area parking lot at the ne corner of Dixie and Grand Blvd. The check in shack is at the se corner of the parking lot.

Also...
You can overnight there after you unload. Or if you have the time go east a few miles on I-10 to exit 803, Cove, TX. The jihadi truckstop on the north side never fills up.Last edited: Mar 26, 2017

Anyone having problems with your electronic devices can find out why at www.spaceweather.com. It will be getting worse over the next few days.
Scottie, get your foil hat ready, pal.
Frankscottied67 and Moosetek13 Thank this. -
I got here 1.5 hours early, so I'm waiting in the staging lot now. Looks like a good place for a 10.
Thanks Frank.A21CAV Thanks this. -

Well, it turns out it was the only place for a 10.
After nearly 6 hours unloading and waiting for the lumper's to count everything my 14 was an hour expired. I didn't get finished until around 0245, after a 2100 appointment time. -
Lancaster terminal.
I woke up to 2 pplans.
The first a tire load going to NJ, t-calling in Lancaster. The second load picking up 14 miles away tomorrow morning going to Northfield, MN for my home time load.
My requested day is 3/30, and this load delivers on 3/30 at 2300 for a live unload.
Luckily the first load was ready several hours early. At least now I won't be late for the second.
