At home taking a reset. Been too tired to update nightly where I am. Haven't spent the night in any truck stops but have crashed in a couple Walmart parking lot this past week.

Currently being unloaded in Baltimore at a place I absolutely despise. Why we don't bring 48's here is beyond me. My bumper is on the double yellow line in the street and the dock is a nightmare to get into. One of those places that of another truck is on the apron before you, you are screwed. The only way in is a high curb-riding, utility pole-dodging blindside since the place is surrounded by low train tressles. At least 15 pull ups and that is probably still 5 better than the last time I was here. I take pride in my trip planning. I wish the folks who sign on these customers knew how to use Google maps as well. At what point, if any, is the load just not worth the risk? Safety first and always

only when "YOU" as the operator of that large commercial vehicle determine that it's unsafe. You have to inform the Prius driving pencil pushers of these things. Pretty sure backing in off a road is against SNI policy along with tractor sitting in road while being unloaded. Not that I've ever had to use their own rules against them. "Safety First" until its not profitable ;)

After one day out, I'm home for the day. Next load isn't ready until 2100. Truck may end up in the shop for one of Detroit's famous squealing pulleys.

The J in Nephi Utah. I was hoping to make it home, but today was one of the days where I wondered WTH happened to my profession.
My super secret parking spot in LA has become not so secret as there were 3 trucks there when I arrived yesterday. And of course someone had to mark their spot with poo bag, and another with a couple bottle of pee. So this one will be gone shortly.

Drove from Long beach to here, hauling hazmat and I had another truck a foot from my bumper half the trip. I have never been tailgated like this before and I was doing 70 once I was out of cali. Saw truck after truck bullying its way through traffic. 2 Gurney Transportation livestock haulers raised hell through the canyon right before St George and Itold the worst of the offenders to smile for my dashcam, as he passed me, tailgating another car. His response was to cut me off. I almost followed him into the scale. But figured going to jail would'nt solve anything .
