Having been looking, and waiting for signs of the oilfield returning, Twin Eagle has consistently placed ads claiming $280-$340 a day, working out of their Jal NM yard. I was curious to see if anyone here works there, has worked there, or has any friends who do. I'm sure most of you have seen their ads for over a year now stating the same. Can they be that busy? In this day and age anything over $300 a day doesn't sound too bad, in addition to free housing. I've been offered the position, but am hesitant to head back to that God awful place. For those keeping score at home, Jal has nothing, other than a few #### restaurants last time I worked that area. I'm supposed to be there Monday, and am trying to convince myself to go, so please, if you have any input let's hear it. Thanks in advance.

I have seen the same ad. It is for a 5/2, 5/3 schedule. If you do not take any extra time off, you are going to make about $ 56,250.00/year. Not bad for if you are trying to get your foot in the oil field, but you can make more than that hauling rock right now.

No, I didn't go. I really, really did not want to go back to West TX/NM. I opted to go back to hauling water in South Texas for C&J Energy. I start Monday. They are definitely hiring drivers, you should apply.

I would call and ask for Beckie. She may not be the right person, but she can help you. Make sure you call the Kenedy yard.

That's about right for those guys. We unload together all the time and those numbers are about right.

Don't look around too much, everyone is hovering around 300-350 a day. And I mean EVERYONE.

Only way you make more is outlaw with a third party with a direct contract.
