Do you guys all start driving at 4am?

Maybe their parked for days and upgrade their parking during the day....

 

They don't care when or how we run, as long as it gets there.
Me, I like to start at 6 or 7 and quit about 16 or 17:00.

I did have that one gal that thought even though the load had an all day window, that we had to take exactly a 10 hour break and get it there as early as possible.
But I eventually got her trained

 

Day-cab vampire.

In my OTR thing tho, I used to like to move at 0200 or so. Gave me ~6 hours of smooth sailing before John, Harry, Phil & William were late to work, plugged up the highway and rode my ### as best they could.

 

I've always been a morning person. I was a morning DJ for a decade before I started trucking, so I've just stayed on that schedule as much as possible.

 

I start driving around 5AM.But I'm local.....

 

O like to start my day between 01-0200 that way I'm done before 1300, so ya I get the best spot

 

good question i used to wonder how all these drivers were making any miles when they were already parked up by 15:00 and no they were still there the following morning so i don't think they were starting early and finishing early either.
