Do i need to display/wear my boxcutter-knife on my belt etc. in order to comply with any concealed weapons law(s) if any?

i understand diff states may have different laws.

Please research. Don't got no time to look into it.

    Thanks.

Depends on what state you live in. Or as i like to say, its not illegal if you dont get caught

Generally speaking, if you have a legitimate reason to be carrying a box cutter, for instance you are a delivery driver that has to cut shrink wrap, or open boxes, and you are on duty, or just got off, and you are not doing anything that could be construed as suspicious or violent, then worst case they might take it away.
But if you are going to the bar with it, or walking the 'hood with it, they may assume ill intend first, and you have to prove righteous intent to he judge later.

Usually also, concealed carry rules for knives are for over 4 inch long blades, so a box cutter would count as a "pocket knife".

But, this all depends on where you are, and how stupid the local laws are lol

I carry my Leatherman with me everywhere, and except for courthouses, some fairs and concerts, or delivering inside a prison yard, it has never been a problem.

But it is a tool for me.

I too used to dizzy myself with each states laws regarding proper securement and display of the tools required to do my job that could also be misconstrued as a "weapon". Since I run a dedicated route which requires the opening of multiple boxes etc. It is an absolute must that I have a quality, durable tool. I found that tool in a 16" genuine Rambo III survival knife replica. At first, I mounted it as designed to my thigh. But, some receivers, being ignorant of the durability of today's 3rd world made box tapes, were uncomfortable with the outward display of my tool. To be honest, I think it was a directive of management. I mean, they use regular old box cutters, which I'm certain they get for around a dollar apiece in bulk and my high quality tool will run ya around 82.50 (plus s&h). You don't want your employees requesting that!!!

    I digress...

I was bummed for days after my tool was misclassified as possible "weapon" and banned from many of the business in which I service.
Then, I was given the mother of all loop holes in the law. A place on the body where very few have the authority to search, even under the most scrutinizing of circumstances.

The "prison pocket" (it's slang term) is the perfect place!!! Although it's capacity is limited at first, the more it's used, the more storage space you have!!!
Think of the possibilities driver!!! Carry anything, anywhere at anytime!

I hope this helps driver! Good luck to you! Sorry you "ain't got no time" to do your own research in each states specific laws and their definitions of a "weapon". I'm sure you'll find someone here with all that info able to whip it out of their...uh...pocket.

OR.... You could do like the rest of us and stick your blade in your jeans, keep your face shut, and roll. Chances are if you get busted for the blade, it's one of many charges you're facing.

    Ya dig?

No longer a weeks on end road-warrior.... But my roomies seem too thick to understand simple things like: curbside recycling and what goes in there vs. what goes in the trash.

Familiar with the 'Theory of the Broken Shoelace'?..... It's the little #### that will send you over the edge - not the large 'catastrophic' things.... One more god-#### milk carton in the trash............... Leave it to Cleaver. Lol.

My stomach actually hurts a little now.
Why the H*LL would I let that play out in my head?
I don't need anymore days off.
I DO need a cucumber based cream now tho.
    You know... For the inflammation.

Dedicated to those of you who don't simply swipe with the tucks pad, but give it a little push to secure it and leave it in your boxers for awhile.
