Yeah, in many cases it's a decent shake to get the money now.

Schneider does seem to skim a lot off the top... in the name of administration fees

    They must suck big time.

The guys making the good money are the ones I talk to with snbc getting 51 and 52 cpm for every mile.. If I stay here for 2 full years I will be at 50.. last hitch I did 11 days and I did not do as good as I usually do. Only 2200 for being out 11days.. that is way short for 11 days of tanking, just like anywhere else.. some weeks are great an some are so so...but I tore the heck out of a muscle in my back so I didn't deliver early or relay any loads.. I'm going back out Monday morning after taking weekend off and I'm still hurting.. never had a muscle torn last this long.

And our detention pay sucks big time.. that's my only complaint with the company, everything else is good as I could've hoped for. But showing up to get loaded and it taking 6 hours sometimes and only getting paid 25 dollars for first 2 hours and then only 10 per hour after that really bothers me.. but at end week somehow the money is always good.. but I wish it was atleast 20 a hour detention pay..

A few of questions if you'd be so kind.

    1. What footgear would you recommend for running tankers?
    2. Is using the company gear sufficient or should I purchase different protective gear? If so, which gear would you recommend?
    3. Any suggestion for work gloves?

    Thanks

I would like to put it out their that I'm in no way recruiting or trying to get anybody to go work for snbc. I only put information out on here for guys to read and get as much insight into snbc as I can help them get. I'm still liking my job here at snbc but their will be another driver that is not happy at same time I'm sure. I really believe that for the most part all the company's pay pretty close to the same when everything is totaled up at end of week in tanking. I've gotten info from drivers of every company I can think of and one thing is for sure. One company will pay more for something but less for something else.. so it all kinda equals out. When looking for a job in trucking probably the most important thing to focus on when picking a company is how much home time you are gonna need. And how close can you park to your house or loads taking you by your house. And another is who can train you the best in what your wanting to learn. If you are anything like me you don't want to change jobs every 4 months so it's best to get all the info you can and make the best informed decision when chooseing the company your gonna work for.
