I don't know... I know for sure they do it in PA only because they can't get enough help up there...

So essentially what you are saying, is that Ashley is a turd that is slightly less brown and slightly less smelly. You can dress a turd up all you want, a turd is still a turd.

This is the same reasoning as the annual list of "Best Fleets to work for" that lobby for themselves every year. Every fleet on that list is full of themselves thinking they are so great, with slow trucks, mediocre to low pay and subpar hometime.

About the only thing Ashley has going for it anymore is the fact that it is mostly a private fleet a d has nice equipment. If they would offer even 48 off on the weekend or ideally 56 to 60 they would never have a problem finding drivers. Or even an out 2 weeks/home 4 to 5 days option. For the young go getters and people desperate for money let them run hard 6 days a week. For those of us who want somewhat of a life, let us have it.

I hope someone high up in the management Chain reads this. THAT CRAPPY HOME TIME NEEDS TO STOP.

Nope I didn't say it that at all. If I wanted somewhat of a life I woouldnt be an OTR truck driver

Oh wait....I'm not anymore..I'm LTL so I kinda have the best of both worlds.

If you think the pay here is low then you shouldn't be working company...you should be running your own numbers.

The pay is what keeps most drivers there. It's not low...

It sounds like at this point it's the only thing keeping them there. As the old saying goes, money isn't everything...

Yeah. As evidenced by the low turnover rate here.

There ain't a perfect company job out there but this company is among the top 10 percent...that I have no doubt.

An outfit that may pay six figures while micromanaging certainly isn't worth it, IMO.
