Truth be told, trucks are not the be all end all. Your peeps can get a cargo van or mini van. He could even go the extra mile and get his own pet transport business going.

Get errors and omissions insurance. DBA. Get himself some paid subscriptions to some.breed specific dog websites.

Get yourself some pet carriers of all sizes. Some cleaning supplies. A 50lb bag of high end dog food. A few bowls..couple jugs of water.

Advertise on the dog forums that you've paid yearly memberships to. Don't forget to mention fees for puppies versus adult dogs. Be specific on what you consider a "puppy".

In no time, the phone will ring so much, you'd soon forget about a CDL.

    Spoken from.experience.

It really depends on the felony. There are companies that will take rehabilitated felons under certain conditions. Generally the biggest causes for 'No-Go'ing a candidate is crimes of 1.Child Abuse 2. Assault 3. Theft
The timeline is also relevant. Either way it's generally up to a company's Operations Manager to provide the final say.

No Canada. That's out. Felons don't get to go to Canada.

No Hazmat. That's out. I don't know about TWIC or other secured locations enough to say one way or another.

You can probably get a basic local dump truck throwing down pavement or stones etc. It's not much but compared to Prison it's freedom.

Ya know... I could care less if a felon is working for 50 dollars in LA to load my truck as long there is no trouble and the produce is on the money matching the bills.

Fast forward a decade or two and find out about felon cant do this felon cant do that felon something else.

If Society is intent on killing Felons, they should have done it a long time ago out back by the woodshed.

If they complete the sentece and served the punishment, with some exceptions, enough is enough let em work. They need to work to live.

For those of you thinking I should put a felon under the jail and throw away the key, I was like that once upon a time. But Ive gotten a little bit... lighter over the years as I watched soceity destroy people who have served their sentences. They might as well commit another crime and go in for life, they will get something out of it. /sarcasm.

    haz-matguru and RockinChair Thank this.
