The OP is the reason they put them on DAT cheap. If they can get a sucker to move a $600- $700 load for $250 you can't blame them. I did a local load Wednesday 18 miles, $800 plus $16.00 fuel surcharge. Dry van, no touch.

 

And I would bet he has his own authority, paying liability,cargo insurance and furnishing a trailer too. Unbelievable. Then these guys get on here and run the brokers down. " Oh the brokers are robbing me"....

There is a certain social phenomenon here. Most of discussed brokers on this forum are discussed in terns of them being scoundrels. Where are the good knights? Makes you think that good ones are not to be discussed in order not to be revealed.

250 dollars, i get 25 percent...so i made 62 dollars and 50 cents! Where do i sign up for this gig! That means i make 300 dollars a week! Lawdd i could make more at freakin mc donalds! Smdh

 

Even if a guy could do 2 or 3 a in day it still isn't enough money. And I hope the OP doesn't think he is being bashed. He's not just hurting himself by working cheap. It lowers the expectation of rates and then the rest of us have to work harder negotiating to get a decent rate.
