CS could give two ####s...that's the big problem here.

 

Getting my own authority was always the endgame. I was going to wait until the end of the year, but for whatever reason things have gotten weird here the last six weeks or so. I don't know if it has anything to do with the IPO or what's going on, but it just feels like now is the right time to jump off this ship. I want to get my authority going well before the Elog mandate hits too.

 

Please for the love of God tell us you aren't sticking with a dry van. The dry van spot market is over saturated with this ruining for 1.20 a mile. what little good paying freight is available is locked up by the big fleets that you simply can't compete with. their ability to offer capacity trumps the service a one truck outfit offers.

 

Not sure where you are getting your numbers, but you're way, way off. 2/mile is very common in the market I run.

 

Customer service and upper management don't give a #### anymore plain and simple if they did they wouldn't be doing all this stupid nonsense

 

right now running short haul in the right market with schneider you might be getting 2 a mile. But you won't have access to those loads under your own numbers. Where do you plan on getting your loads? Dat? Internet truckstop? The big brokerage firms like chr and tql? I hope you do great but before you start counting on that plentiful 2 a mile freight i suggest you actually get some hard firm numbers on spot market freight off those public load boards.

 

Seems as if my predictions have ripened. Guess it's not all unicorns and cotton candy.
Why all the whining? This program rocks.
