That's ok, the Canucks probably get hassled in Texas...
"Oh, we know how you Canadians are with your medical marijuana."

With rifle rounds on the other hand, I can't really see that happening.rank Thanks this. -
Sometime ago, about 6 months to a year ago, I came across a 28 year old OTR truck driver who drives to and from all 48 states.
If I am not mistaken, he drives for Swift, said that he has been with his company for 5 years, hoping to eventually find another company to drive for by the end of the year. The OTR truck driver mentioned that he is hoping to get on with a tanker company that will get him home every night. He is hoping to get on with a company that hauls gasoline to various gas stations throughout the city. The OTR truck driver mentioned that he does have hazmat and tanker endorsements, along with doubles and triples, on his CDL. He just hasn't had a chance to use them yet.
Before that, he worked in a warehouse for 4 years, shortly after graduating high school.
He never married, has no kids, and lives in a small studio apartment just over 250 square feet, paying $300 a month rent.
He wants to eventually find a lady, get married, buy a house, and have a family.
One of the questions that I asked him is whether or not he carried any firearms. His reply was that he is less afraid of the thugs he encounters than he is of law enforcement. He won't chance it out of fear of being arrested, convicted, and sent to prison. The OTR truck driver also mentioned that he doesn't even carry a box cutter inside the truck.
Also, he said that his company does NOT allow any firearms inside the truck whatsoever.
I did wish the OTR truck driver the absolute best of luck. I do hope all goes well for him.
God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

@spyder7723 Hollow points splinter on impact... Seriously? You don't actually believe that horse #### do you?
They don't splinter, they mushroom out. They do this to create a larger wound cavity, which causes a more fatal shot.crb Thanks this. -
I honestly don't know, I'm not a hunter. Just repeating something i either read in guns and ammo or wss told during a gun safety and or training class. And it's also completely possible i just misunderstood. -
How well they mushroom depends on the round. There are plenty of you tube videos of guys firing into ballistics gel. They weigh a bullet before firing and then they retrieve it from the gel and weigh it. This tells you how much it splintered. Some really suck and some are great.
spyder7723 and crb Thank this. -
The only rounds on the market that actually "splinter" are called RIP. they are basically a hollow point with trocars that separate from the main slug. The thought is that they cause more damage to the internal organs. It's been proven that they are no more deadly than a basic hollow point
