Wait hold up.... $1.75 from Chicagoland to VA BEFORE Celadon gets there cut... Y'all still wanna tell me that's a good rate after Celadon gets there 60%??
And by the way, if you're hauling anything out of Chicagoland under $2.40 a mile in a Van before your company cut, you're a fool...

You may have a point FW...don't know if that's before or after their cut. I also have not run further than Front Royal since I've been here, so I don't really know the VA market/lanes that well.

Everything else pays peanuts.hawkjr Thanks this. -
VA is not good at all for outbound freight. Everything going in either direction besides Northeast is horrible. You got plenty of Beer, Paper and Soda loads that all pay $1.70 or below to go 400-500 miles usually across West Virginia...

I've never voluntarily pulled a load from IL into VA. VA sucks
-
I usually only pull a cheap load to get the hell out of PA into the MidWest, then run around there until I decide to go home. No interest in running the eastern seaboard.
