Made it through orientation today with no truck issues to speak of. Had to get my fifth wheel moved back on the frame in order to get clearance for a headache rack. That set me back $934 but they (LASCO) did a great job, treated any corrosion and painted a large portion of the frame as well. Got a used trailer, 2013, but only 26 payments left and all new brakes, shocks, and a few of the airbags are new. It's clean and straight and no rub rail damage.
Got a load of plastic pipe going to Mississippi for just under $2 a mile delivering Monday then picking up 60 miles away for just over $2 going 500 miles. Then got another load not paying great, $1.59 but it's air conditioners, light and no tarp so I took it to relax a little, 1844 miles. Then got a fourth load picking up after that. Only $1.51 for 540 miles but it gets me outta Virginia and into KY where I can get back into $2+ per mile freight. 3 out of 4 no tarp and 2 are light. All of these loads were assigned within 2 hours of clearing orientation.
Needless to say, I'm thrilled with Mercer and looking forward to every new challenge here

Get what ever binders you want, but don't leave Louisville without felt. lots of felt. It's not something required, but it's one of your best friends!!! cheap too.

Any new details on this securement school that Mercer is supposed to be starting? Personally, I like the idea of an in-depth tarping and securement class, even if it runs several days.

For short hops out on another I might have her set 300 DH 1.45 to 1.65 a mile depending where I am with a $800 min this is only one exp of having different settings on different devices there are more let's talk about the new feature were you can type flat in trailer it is a great concept but lacking/falling short unless they changed it since last I tried it every time you run a new search you have to type it in again it would seem to me most people are not going to change their trailer type very often so not to run a 6 page essay on what could be better in closing I will just say I am happy you like the new site but Your shoe doesn't fit everyoneAllan M, CJndaTruck, Razorwyr and 2 others Thank this. -
I have ratchet and snaps. I have come upon some coils in certain conditions a ratchet binder will not work. However, most of the time I will use a ratchet binder. I do like the snap binders Mercer sells.
HalpinUout Thanks this.
