I really want to join maverick, but I have questions..
1- Do they fly or bus you to the school and pay for expenses such as schooling and food.
2- I live in minnesota, do they hier people out of minnesota and get to bring the truck back home with them?
3- How long is the schooling.
4- I already passed my general knowledge air brakes and combination, would they teach me about mapping and put me in a truck right away and start practicing?
Thank you in advance! Be safe out there!

Training Days Playlists
How to Secure Playlists
Almost every company will require new CDL holders to ride with a trainer doing the company type of runs for 2 weeks to 2 months before getting your own truck. That's where you learn most of what you need to know about driving and the company operations.David Bistram Thanks this. -
I'm not sure about hiring in MAN but they will get you a bus ticket or reimburse you the amount of a bus ticket.
You will arrive on Saturday, Orientation begins Sunday and ends Thursday.
On Thurs they will take everyone down to Newport, AR. They have a house with 10 bedrooms that they use to house students. You will go to ASUN for school for about 3.5 weeks. They give you preloaded cards with $570 to help with food and licensing expenses. You will eat breakfast and lunch at the school on weekdays for free.
If you have an out of state permit you will still have to take the AR permit tests.
The first week is half permit stuff and half straight line backing.
I just finished my 1st week.

Reviving a dead thread in case anyone is looking for recent info. I put in an application with them a while back and the recruiter said they’d get me a rental car to orientation. I don’t know if that’s because I had experience or live in the Dallas area and it’s more feasible.
Also, I would add that they require you to have no preventable or recordable accidents in the previous 12 months.Rollr4872, motocross25 and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this.
