that sounds like one heck of file they got on yah, don't do anything out ordinary, they might follow up on it.

I don't need to watch for ads when they admitted to it. -
Youtube shows me an ad for CAT parts every 2nd or 3rd video.

Like your laptop and xbox one don't listen or watch either. People forget there are cameras built into things these days. For instance, if you've ever rooted a phone and actually secured it, you know all the crazy permissions things have. Like the calendar asks for mic/cam permissions as does other countless apps. As for my laptop it's locked down with linux but at home my wife uses winblowz and we can be talking about something rather obscure and she goes to search it and it's the first suggestion to come up, like really? Even seen adds about things we'v discussed and never searched. And I've went through and changed everything that windows would let me change but since the windows 10 install things became sketchy imo.
Ever visited a place and have google maps pop up on your phone and ask for pics and a rating... In the end I think google, microsoft, the are the main sources, one could include the government but I imagine they just use the above companies as a data source. Of course there is the service provider as well but they are more on the down low because if word got out they were doing that, it could spell trouble for them as people stopped using them. As for MS and google, it's a tad harder to escape using them, well google anyways.
It used to be about advertising, what information can we gather from an individual to sell to an advertiser or to push at the end user as click bait. Today though, I would be willing to bet that a rather large portion of data goes IBM's Watson and google's DeepMind. I don't know which will win an that race but I'd say IBM.
Check out what IBM has Watson involved in https://www-935.ibm.com/industries/?lnk=hmmin the future is changing, and fast! Oh wait wasn't IBM in bed with germany during WWII, not sure maybe I should read http://www.ibmandtheholocaust.com/ , IBM never denied any of it, they lost all records of that period o.0davidl Thanks this. -
And they say truckers are dumb!!!!!
You hit the nail on the head Mac. I seem to remember when our gov was buying "metadata" from Sprint for $1.17 per session of metadata. You seem like you may have some technical background. Metadata is really a nice way of saying that you are a object in a computer program now and you better believe that religion and guns field is filled in.
Google, m$ can finger print you digitally they say now. Wasn't Google the one that said they know as much about people as God does? (I say this through my android phone)
Mark of the beast anyone? Number of man is starting to make sense a little bit more. -
That's nothing. I had a Schneider tanker back in next to me one night, a couple minutes later I fired up Facebook and the first post in my feed was a "suggested post" for Schneider tanker jobs...
