I'll let you know once my coupler arrives and I hit up my hardware store!

I am just waiting to see what else you will suggest him to buy .I mean tools, coupler, primers..... :) it's easy to prime that system. first by hand pump. 300-400 times. when hand pump gets tight little loose fuel input line on #1 injector and start the engine. all air will come out. I just want to know that dd16 engine's MCM has cooling by fuel or no . Also I want to know what fault codes are there . If you keep starter running 5-6 second you can monitor the pressure in fuel rail and in low pressure side. Also it's possible to monitor PWM signal on each injector.

from fuel manual --> While servicing the fuel system, air can enter the system and will need to be purged. If the air in the system is not properly purged, a no-start condition, longer than normal crank times, or electronic service codes related to unstable rail pressure may occur.

Hand priming it, I cranked over 1000 times. That's a legit amount. Not just joking. It never worked. Didn't even tried to turn Over. Still awaiting priming coupler and then I'll try. I'll be sure to respond with my results once I receive my coupling.

if you put fuel into system using that coupler you will prime only low pressure side of fuel system.

So how do you prime the high side?

It will most definitely go through the pump and prime the high side. You can watch rail pressure rise with a primer on though the compucheck fitting.

I'm trying to avoid a $120 dollar charge just for the mechanic to come back and hook up the computer. So once my fitting arrives, I'm just gonna start pumping it for a bit then continue to pump while turning it over.
