If it was a coil, sure... But shingles... No, not when it doesn't say to tarp on the bills.

Just because it doesn't say it on the bills doesn't mean that it didn't say it in the ratecon, or any other type of contract that your company might have with the shipper. Being told to do tarp a load and deciding not to do so is just lazy, and I don't understand the point of boasting of it on a public forum.

I've been told to tarp a load many times by a broker. You get there and the shipper says you don't have to and the receiver says the same. I get all ratecons and it will state it has to be tarped because the broker says it needs to be.

If I get confirmation at both ends it doesn't get tarped. Not hard to figure out what the deal is.

If that load is from one Certaiteed site to another I would suggest you tarp it. If its going to a reseller its not needed. Or that's how its that's how its been for m.

I should pick up moving blankets and a couple more 1" straps. And learn how to tarp better. Short on bungees again doesn't help, and not being the one to roll the tarps doesn't help either.

For a minute there I thought you were following @MJ1657 around taking photos of his trailer, but then I saw the tarp

That allows for a lower trailer deck height.
