A week after getting the antenna and black box replaced, I'm still on paper logs, lol.

Kenworth, so they have to change the parameters to read the speed sensor, been through this many times now.

This time? It seems nobody knows how to properly do it. They are convinced I have a working problem. Ok, wiring problem developed at he same time the box was replaced. ........ Whatever

Regulatory has freaked out to the point I am in the shop to get it checked.

I tried to get them to have the person who changed the settings a few weeks ago do it again, but that person is no longer there.

We are down to two 2nd tier tech support people. Seems they are now running on a skeleton crew.

Oh, and at the Phoenix OC for the 2nd time in the past couple weeks. If I were a new company driver showing up here for class, pretty sure I would just walk back out the door. I don't even like sitting in here while the truck is in the shop listening to these egos.

It is a skeleton crew. Your drive time shows red on the graph screen. Just make sure you click drive time manually. In the meantime tell them to pound sand and fix it. It's a issue that takes 5 minutes to fix but they are cool with you spending countless oor miles to resolve. You have done all you can to. Tell them to kick rocks and carry on. It will be fixed by tomorrow at lunchtime.

Those are invalid logs. Driving distance shows zero miles and will not fly on an inspection.

I'm here til tomorrow morning when I pick up my next load. If they fix it today, great. If they can't, back on paper logs and going to work.

If they don't resolve it soon, and get nasty about me running on paper, they can take the system out, or I will take it out for them.

Yeah I know they don't fly. They can fix your problem with the stroke of a computer key. Keep paper for yourself and tell them to go f themselves. Not trying to tell you what to do lol. But it's like reliving the same nightmare I had to deal with. It's not complicated but over the years working for them it cost me thousands. Just listening to your story makes my B/P rise:(

Typical Schneider... they want to blame everybody but themselves for their subpar equipment... the Indy Shop told me that they are no longer buying new omnitracs equipment only buying refurbished used equipment and then they wonder why they're having issues but yet refuse to take responsibility...

I've gotten nothing but refurbished junk since I signed on here in 2013.

Phasing it all out now though, going to a tablet system according to the shop guy. Not sure if that goes for owner ops or not.

Anyhow, I have no idea if my unit is fixed or not, but it's out of the shop. They told me it was installed wrong. Two years since the system was installed, now its installed wrong. They completely rewired it in under the dash.

Pulled out of the shop after securing my fire extinguisher. Touched the brake pedal and the trailer ABS light comes on fuse was missing, told me the first mechanic must have removed it for some reason. Feeling really uncomfortable about what else might be messed up.

Drivers side floor mat was gone, nobody knew where it was. I couldn't find it either. Just a few minutes ago, one of he 2nd shift techs came into the building carrying my floor mat, looking to see if someone was missing one. Thanked him and carried it out to the truck.

Shut my door and wiring connectors are falling from the steps into the ground.

They close the shop doors here becausr it's air conditioned. Normally I watch from outside. Had I known they were going into the wiring, probably would have taken it out of the shop. Don't like things on my truck being taken apart without my knowledge and without observing.
