Just went on www.ripoffreport.com and found other drivers are beginning to come forward on this company. Maybe now we will finally be able to get something done about this company. Seems even withall the scamming they do to get the drivers money they are still having some money problems. Drivers we know that are still with them called to say they are not being paid and now I see another driver has posted the same on ripoffreport. Maybe the good lord is going to give us all justice.
I have always believed in the end we must anwser to the lord for all of our sins so we must be as good as we possibly can and help others as we would want to be helped if in their place.

    Pardel,

In brief, we came to Indiana to be students at the training facility of Expedite Solutions, and from the start were not given the total picture. One week before we were to arrive to start our training (after we had quit our jobs) Expedite Solutions finally informed us we need to get certified copies of our birth certificates and we would need a car the entire time at their school.
Once we arrived at the facility, we were given a truck to train in that was not street legal, and we know this since a State Examiner had to tell E.S. to not train us in that truck and provide a better truck. Also when we went on the road in a truck assigned to us, it needed work done on it (running lights, headlights, engine problems, along with a driver's seat that made it impossible for us to reach the pedals safely) and it had just been in the shop - picked up the day we were issued the vehicle. We drove the vehicle to Ohio after being told we take that truck or go home. In Ohio the seat belts (which had been jury rigged and literally exploded all over the floor during an emergency and I was trapped in the chair for about a minute. They repaired these problems only after we complained adamantly at Panther II Transportation orientation about it. Regarding the pedals they told us to use little wooden blocks attached using velcro, and spoke harshly with us that a "smaller woman" had made it work prior to us having the truck. They repaired that also, only after further complaint from us to the carrier. The seat never worked right afterwards, and in one situation it nearly caused a brake failure on the Chicago Expressway during morning rush hour. This is just some of what we endured.
We felt more than obligated to quit for our own safety, but we feel taken advantage of and it is not just us but other teams before us have been complaining also via online blogs. We are being charged a large amount of money per month for the training, which we don't believe they deserve to be paid, and we are being threatened with legal action if we quit our payments, even for a small amount of time.We would like to be able to contact some of the other people who have been torn apart by this company, and proceed with a Class Action Lawsuit in order to make an example of this sort of preying upon the desperate.

When trucking companies pull this kinda crap on people they need to be held responsible. They need a good old fashion law suit filed on them for fraud. :yes2557: There should be a thread called companies that rip off students and drivers. :yes2557:

Write your rep's, congressman and senators. It's a state and federal issue.

    Thanks for informing us.

It makes me sad when these big companies lour unsuspecting people into driving for them, when they don't know what to do in these situations.
For any new drivers that are put in to a similar situation remember this magic phrase "then I'll call the DOT" It's magic because you will be amazed how fast they repair all the things wrong with your truck.
It may be hard for some of you to do, but you really need to stand your ground...This business will run all over you, but only if you let it...Be firm and do not back down, when you know a truck is not safe to drive, most of the people in the office have no clue what you need to drive a truck and really could care less. So it is up to you, to enforce these people to get what you need...As sad as it is, it's true.

    Amen brother!
Professional drivers need to draw a safety/non-compromise line around themself and their truck...do not cross that line! If they (bad companies and their office help who don't know how to start a truck, let alone drive one) see you cross that line just once, they will ignore or put you off from that point on. As Johnny Cash sang "I walk the line..." BUT I don't cross it for anyone. This attitude puts the ball in their court because you ALWAYS know what you are going to do BEFORE the request to "take one for the company" eventually comes. The company I drive for won't even ask me...I made it a condition of my employment. If I say the truck needs something repaired or conditions are unsafe for driving, then that is it...I will not drive what I am not captain of...period.

Same here, I drove for two companies(not counting my granddad's) and in total I have had 11 truck's assigned to me(only accepted 4)...There are a lot of compromises one needs to get accustomed to making in this business....
SAFTEY IS NOT ONE OF THEM, EVER.

Hi there, new to this forum

We drove for Expedite Solutions for a little over 8 months, we quit, we had no money, we had no choice but to quit. We used our savings to survive. We continued because of the contract, which in turn we quit anyways, could not take the abuse Stephanie, and Kyle, and others were treating us in the office. We absolutely made zero dollars from Expedite Solutions, the only money we had was the so called "bonus" every 15th of each month. Sometimes that was a joke! The first truck we had from them we called it ol blue, a 1998 Freightliner, we ran that baby. It had 700,000 miles on it, until she failed on us, we had noticed the front end was terrible, we were in Mountain Home, Arkansas delivering a load, he said well you need to dead head to Indianapolis, and don't take any more loads because of the front end. We said well no we can't dead head that far and we have no money. His reply was well it's your business, you run it how you want to, and he hung up the phone. We had to actually run off fumes and put in every cent we had in fuel! We took it to Stoops in Indianapolis, and sat in that house for 2 weeks! We didn't have a vehicle there, so no way to get home plus no money to even get home. My husband was so irate, he walked down to the office and said look it is not our fault the truck is in the shop, can't you give us some kind of compensation, Stephanie and Kyle talked it over and they loaded $300 on the card. Still no way to get home so we just sat there in that house. We got back in the truck and did a weeks worth of loads, Stephanie called when we were in Laredo, TX. She wanted to let us know we were getting a new "Gold" truck. Whooptee!! How exciting, so once again we either had to dead head or get dispatch to get us a load close to Indy. We moved from one truck to another. Bad news first bad rain storm you were going to get soaked because the truck leaked all over, the inverter didn't work, the 2 little fridges leaked freon all over the bed. Called and they said oh really, well its still under warranty, bring it in. We never brought the truck in, because of the simple fact, we pretty much started not to care anymore. We finally could not take the lies and deceits anymore, so we made a home time, got our van, followed each other back to Indy, moved our stuff out, and left. PFS a so called collection agency called and demanding money, sorry but don't have any to give. I said I can send in $5.00 a month, the agency said no how about $200 a month. The financial adviser Joe ha ha what a rip off there. Whatever you do, please don't make the same mistake my husband and I did. We are now driving for another fleet owner who is leased on with Panther, and we make money, not pocket change. We learned our lesson from Kyle and the rest of his scammed team. The so called school is a joke as well, save your time and effort and do not go to this place.
