3.07 GB used space.....498 MB open

i only have 8 locations that i got in memory

when ever i go to the dock, and it says i need an update, i just let it do it's thing.

i never bought the lifetime maps as i do not go OTR, i am regional.

Some things were changed on the 740, due to the Android allowing you to long press on the screen you can do a Permanent avoid, but traffic is not there.

I am working on hashing this out. So, stay tuned.... It will have to be looked at and see if feasible or we can do a "work around" to add traffic avoids back.

So far as you found out, long press or the traffic tab does not bring back results.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I have to build a 510 and see what my results bring back.

    Thanks,

Sorry if it "enough" hit you the wrong way. I have had this thread since 2009 and I don't want it to become an "open" thread of complaints. It is strictly for the help of an issue or questions. Many posters are long time and will help keep the thread on track if I am not around..

    Thanks,

ok, thanks, and that is my issue, "out of memory", or "not enough memory"

if all i have to do is buy a memory card, the micro SD, then that's what i will do, but someone earlier said it will not work, yet there is a slot for one?

Yes their is a slot, but unless the program calls for the Slot the files will not "just" move to the SD Card. Even the Dock knows where the files are and will not move files to the SD Card unless it calls for it in the Manifest.

Let me build mine tonight. I might have to remote into your computer to see the 510 to view the files.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Okay,, the x40 follows the same as the x30 for traffic list. It is just a few more steps in the process, but if you Avoid an road/route it is a Permanent Avoid which you will not be routed on till you delete it from Main Screen/Cog (bottom left)/Route/Manage Avoid List and in the x30's it is Preference/Route/Manage Avoid List.

On the x40, Live Data/Turn Traffic on/Settings (live data)/Traffic Tab/Click on segment you wish to avoid/Long press on Map screen the Bull's Eye/Permanent Avoid/Avoid Route,Avoid Road, Avoid Area.

Note all these are Permanent Avoids.

Working on finding a simpler solution.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I build an 510 using 2013 maps, maps are internal as yours should be.

I have 3.53 GB used and free 23.3 MB...

I connected to the Dock and it shows me up to date with version 4.31.3297.1930.

The Dock knows this is the last authorized version for the 510.

Mine does not have Life Time Maps either..

I do not get the error message you are getting, so it tells me you might have corrupted files on your 510.

I can remote into your computer to view your 510 files. I use Teamviewer.

Start a conversation with me so I can give you my E-Mail.

    Thanks,
    Mark
