What are the maximum yearly out-of-pocket costs including yearly deductible for the highest level of Medical and dental insurance coverage for your family?

What is the maximum benefit per year per person on the highest dental plan?

If someone is working locally at another company, with 20 years seniority @ $84,000.00 per year or no seniority @ $70,000 per year with union dues of $56 per month but zero out-of-pocket expenses for medical and dental Plus pension contributions would it be worth jumping ship to become the low man on the bottom of the totem pole on the Steelcase account and forfeit the free medical and dental plus pension contributions And take on the additional expenses of paying for those benefits out-of-pocket but saving the $56.00 per month union dues? I'm trying to weigh all the pros and cons and do the math.
What do the guys in Hazleton on the Steelcase account think about this? I heard a rumor that one of our drivers is planning on going to work for JB Hunt on the Steelcase account and I was just curious if he is stupid or maybe he knows something I don't?

I couldn't tell you but me personally if your not that unhappy I'd stay where you are no sense in taking the risk.

I'm always looking for ways of increasing cash flow, but not if my new healthcare expenses overshadow the gain in income. If I could work less and make more, that would be great.

    mnmover and poppapump1332 Thank this.

It looks like one of their drivers just came to work for us about a week ago and he clued me in on the additional Health expenses which explains why he's now working for us.

It looks like $175.00 per week × 52 weeks = $9,100.00 per year plus the $5000.00 deductible works out to an additional $14,000.00 per year in medical expenses not including any co-pays. Kinda what I figured.

If you get free medical (after $56 dues) + pension, you'd be CRAZY to leave....

That's what I was trying to figure out because we did have a guy quit and move over to that account working for JB Hunt and I was trying to figure out what I was missing out on.
