My first ride in a truck was in 1970, was with my grandfather when he worked for PMT in Tucson. Had 2 uncles who also worked there.

Honestly, none. If a company fails it is usually to poor business management. I would rather see intelligent business management win out and poorly managed companies fail(not being bailed out).
The only thing that truly sucks is how it affects the drivers. It definitely seems like all of these stories involve drivers who saw the writing on the wall and did nothing to find new work, however. Who is to blame there? -

My truck freight liner. # 367. Bob in shop turned that cat 3406 up ! Lost my Florida license first trip threw Nebraska didnt mater back then. Had two more. Those were the good days. Remember one ticket coming down doner pass. Chip got me at 74 in a 45 zone at 2 in morning. Gave me my second ticket with a 55 mph sticker for my truck we became friends use to pull me over just to say hi carretta was the best
