Well, if you're gonna do a 34 at a terminal, that's a good one. I'm hoping I get a load on Monday that'll span through the 4th, otherwise I'll be sitting with a 34.

Sup y'all, greetings from Hebron, Indiana. So, yesterday was a relatively good day. The ride to my final was pretty smooth. Good weather, cooperative traffic. I was supposed to be at my final at 10:30am, but didn't arrive until about 1:15pm due to my blown tire. The silver lining in that situation was that Love's roadside service moved very quickly. They were there in about 45 minutes. You can't really do better than that. Nice guy, too. I felt bad that he had to change that tire in the dark. Nature of the business, I guess. But, because I was way past my appointment time, I sat at the receiver for almost 2 hours before I got a dock. Can't be mad about that, not their fault. By the time I got out of there, my 14 was almost depleted. I managed to get to my home truck stop with about 20 minutes left. Got to hang with the wife last night. I took her out to a killer Mexican place that we haven't gone to in about a year. So, flat tire aside, yesterday was pretty awesome. When I got to the truck this morning, I had to go pick up a load in Columbus, bound for Wisconsin. Didn't check to see where the actual final is. I'm dropping it in West Allis. From there, I'm heading to Oshkosh to get a load going to Springfield, Ohio. I've had this exact run before, shipper and receiver are both relatively decent stops. I was hoping to make it up to the Racine exit in Wisconsin, but traffic in Chicago was really bad, I was warned by a couple drivers, including one of our own. So, I just stayed here. I just pulled in for a bathroom stop, but it's as good a place as any to spend the night. Really nice Flying J. I'll get an early start tomorrow, and get through Chicago and Milwaukee before traffic starts ramping up. I'll have to fight both cities later tomorrow, but at least one trip will be good. Before I sign off...thanks to the random dude in a gorgeous white Acura that ran interference for me in Cbus. Good lookin' out, Playa. That was solid AF. Respect. I owe you one. Alright guys, I'm outta here. It's time for sleep. Be safe out there. Peace.

Well today is my last day at home for a month. I'm heading to the hotel in Ohio about 3 pm probably. I'm really excited to get this new adventure started.

Today, the road has won. I am in Sturtevant, Wisconsin. I went around Chicago and Milwaukee to get to my final, and then my next load. I fought Milwaukee again, and just didn't have it in me to deal with Chicago a second time. I wanted to. I intended to. But nope...not happening. The rain was heavy, and the traffic was as well. My drive started at 3:30am and it was already busy. There weren't a lot of trucks, just tons and tons of 4 wheelers clogging up the road. By the time I got past Milwaukee, my mind was gone and I threw up the white flag. My miles were weak as a result. I only had 350 for the day. Tomorrow I'll be starting a little earlier, and I'm hoping that Chicago and then 65 south will go smooth. I'm not counting on it. My final isn't real far from Trenton, so I'm hoping I'll get a beer load or whatever from the terminal. But I'll be happy with anything. I'm betting that there won't be anything available. I guess we'll see. This is gonna be a short post today. I'm out of gas. I'm heading to bed. I could definitely use the sleep. Catch y'all on the flipside. Peace.
