    Not much to report.
Took last week off after delivering Monday.
Was gonna head out Wednesday and not much on the board then started vomiting that night and was pretty much in bed til Saturday evening.

Sitting in Cleveland TN at the moment.

My guess is that inbound freight may pay very well, BUT outbound freight doesn't. Same story with many areas. For example, I delivered a good paying load to Casper, WY on Monday. I ended up eating ALL the miles back to OKC as deadhead, because there weren't any loads paying enough out of there to waste my time. Instead I boogied back and snagged a load with a total of 100 miles including deadhead that paid more than any of the Wyoming loads that would have delayed my availability by another day AND added hundreds of deadhead miles to boot.

@BoyWander is correct to say he would need MORE money getting into the general dead zone of Seattle to make it worthwhile. There's a thread about a guy running a load from the upper Midwest to Anchorage for $10K. He stopped posting after making delivery. My assumption is he got skunked on any backhaul and lost money on that run. But he did have an adventure of a lifetime and can say he did it.

Last December I had an opportunity to team a load from OKC to Prudhoe Bay for $25K. My brother and I turned it down. Not NEARLY enough money to get skunked on a backhaul with TWO drivers stuck on a three week round trip AND take the risk of getting one of our trucks beat to ####.
