Pretty upset I failed my first set of backing tests. I passed 3 outta 5 of em. Don't know how to improve since I'm practically outta time. What happens if you fail? Do you have to pay the entire bill? Or just the 500 already paid? I wish he credited the 3 I passed.

Ok @Chad H I hope that helped. And here's the fd up thing with backing. It'll take a year before you feel any kind of confidence and competence. Bill told me that in school a year ago. And I'll be ###### if it wasn't dead on. Just relax man.

Wassup y'all. Tonight I'm sitting at a very old school truck stop, and loving it. It's unbelievable how quiet it is, and I'm going to enjoy every inch of the sleep that's coming. I'm coming to you tonight from Newberry, SC. To fill you in on yesterday, there isn't much to tell. I had a really smooth ride to my final, and it's a place I love going to. Heidelberg in Moraine, OH. I don't often mention company names in my posts, but that place is awesome. It's a trucker's dream. Wide open docks, plenty of room to maneuver, very friendly staff, and ridiculously clean. Ten thumbs up. I wanted to go to Trenton, and I didn't even have to ask. Opie had a load waiting for me at the terminal. Awesome. So, I got a couple things addressed on my truck, grabbed a shower, did a load of laundry, and made my ritual visit to Gold Star for a big bowl of their five way chili. I dropped my empty (you're welcome, whoever grabbed it) and hooked up to my load this morning. It was a fun run. I40 in Tennessee and North Carolina, then I24. They are frustrating roads but the scenery is worth it. Absolutely gorgeous. This is the point in the story where I won't mention a company's name. My final was a GD joke. I signed in, got docked, and was unloaded in just under an hour. But I was there for 2 and a half hours total because I was waiting for my signed bill of lading. Dude, W T F. I don't have enough nasty things to say about the woman behind the counter. It was mind-boggling how inept she was, and how little she cared about her job. Oh well, you just cost your company $20 for absolutely no reason, because I got paid to sit there. I was getting to the point where I was just going to leave so that I could get legally parked. I was quickly running out of time. I did my job, and the dock folks did theirs. Screw it man, she can deal with it in the morning. But it finally came, and I went straight here. Thank god it was close, I needed a place to land. Tomorrow I have a pickup about an hour away heading for Cherokee, AL. I have to be there at 8am, which gives me another good night of sleep. Gotta love it
Alright guys, I'm out. Hope you had a good day. Be safe out there, keep the rubber side down. Peace.

Greetings from my home away from home, Cartersville. I grabbed my load this morning in Columbia and headed out. I got close to Atlanta, and was told to drop my load here. Not sure why, but no complaints here. It wasn't a real long day, but I ended up with almost 350 miles, so good enough I guess. Nothing really worth mentioning today, everything went smooth. Traffic was decent until Atlanta, which is to be expected. The weather was good, but friggin HOT. So, short day means short post. Talk at y'all tomorrow. Sorry for the boring update lol. Peace.
