shouldn't this be in the lease purchase section? nothing really out of the ordinary here for the "O/O company driver".....they even get told whether they can or can't repair their truck...

As far as doing a LP to as you say help Steve he couldn't do a LP on his own thought that was a major reason a lot did LP most of those companies will lease to just about anyone as long as long as company will hire them

Pray tell what sort of service animal are we dealing with here? Generally truckers are very healthy and have no need of service anything. If you have a wonderful pet then it's great. But service animals? In a profession where you are generally healthy and emotionally stable? Something is not right here.

As far as the tractors don't put the #### money where you cannot get to it. Keep that 2000 dollars or whatever in your pocket and put the truck into the shop no matter how much they yell in dispatch. What part of no dont you hear? Don't be weak and put a load on that 5th wheel of a sick truck, it will find a way to royally stab you in the heart with a even more expensive break.

Alot of this seems like nothing but a heart ache. if I had to go through all that, it's probably would be up my alley to get a emotional support pet too. loz.. (Sarcasm)

Being healthy has nothing to do with having a service animal. I know several drivers that are veterans and have diagnosed PTSD. They have a service dog in the truck with them.

    I don't think she's a driver.
Edit: Why? 'The Kw was for me when I got my CDL' - I do not know if that is a past or future tense statement. It feels future-loaded.... I might be wrong, but my gut has seldom proven me that way.

Remember that spell not so long ago where drivers better-halves would post about their guys woes - like 6 at a time? I think this is that, microcosmically.

Treat her like a woman: heard. And don't try to fix it.

With that, I'm out. *tips cap*

Western Express? What are we doing here experienced drivers? I would rather work for Panda Express doing dishes.

hehehehe first thing you have to ask as a owner operator "force dispatch?" 2 things might happen they say "yes" you get off that place asap they said "no but its strongly encouraged to take the load" you can stay seated and see if they will take your breath away... even as a company driver when you don't want to take a load is simple as saying "I'm tired" by law they cant force you to run a load...... try a local company the pay will be better and healthwise is also good..... western express sucks and you should stop trying to keep leasing maybe get your own authority and run your way

Thank you for bringing this up. This also struck me. I mean blind people have guide dogs and I can see elderly or disabled people having real honest 'service dogs' to fetch and maybe carry for them but a fully abled truck driver???
As far as I am concerned this falls into the same category as disabled slots in truck stops. If you need a disabled parking spot then you shouldn't be driving a truck. That spot is needed by a fully functioning trucker.
I think the green hair in the avatar photo gives it away.
More and more people are claiming so called 'disability' and being at some kind of a 'disadvantage'. Baloney! More like snowflake fishing for sympathy.
Anybody think this lady is from Portland, Oregon??

    LoudOne and x1Heavy Thank this.
