Some machined bars at the front and rails on the rear. Stacked some lifting beams in the middle at the back.

Front load was booked as 20ft long. Got there and it was 25ft long. Glad I have the room for the long front overhang. Still had to overhang off the back as well to make it all fit.

Also filled the tarp box on the trailer with parts for the lifting beams.

IMG_6654.JPG IMG_6655.JPG IMG_6657.JPG Wow it's been a while since I posted here. Lol. Been keeping busy. These steel beams were such a pain in the rear. Got to run them the week before the 4th of July weekend to the Northeast. Had to stomp the brakes on a blind corner and those straps held. Couple pieces did a little forward shift on me and I ain't gonna lie it shook me a bit. I think I should've used some chains in there too. Next time I will for SURE!!!!! Still bothers me a little. It could've been bad. Thank God I'm able to tell about it.

I'm not impressed here... this load was bags for concrete. Had to be tarped fully 3 tarps. Only 102 that day.

Not to preach but IMO straps don't belong on most steel loads. Glad you're ok. At the very least I've used straps and corner protectors with chains, at least with corner protectors the straps shouldn't cut.
Ive run those loads, they don't load them with wood in between vertically usually, they're usually a loose mess that you have to babysit and drive on egg shells.

An X chain on the front works great too.

Here's what I've been dragging around lately.

Before anyone says it I know I tarped it backwards. LOL

These were pretty cool little load. Hailed a couple other pieces with them.

    Crane parts...
    IMG_6813.JPG IMG_6814.JPG

Boat dock and lifts... not enough straps had to buy a few 2" on the way...

I like blue... not sure why I picked a red truck. You'd think after my time at Roehl I'd be done with red.

Preach away! I wish I'd thrown chains on those upper step parts. Only two of the beams shifted. One on the very top and one on the lower deck. The step bulkhead stopped the lower. I think a couple chains mixed in would've been smart. Live and learn... thank goodness.
