Lol I dont kiss anyones butt. Lot of it is luck of where you are. Monday i had a broker load from Sun Prairie to York Pa then got a load from Robesonia PA up to Syracuse, and then from E.Syracuse to Horicon WI. Those 3 loads put me just under 1900 to start my day on Friday. Now Horicon to Atlanta, and then carpet load going to Terre Haute and Holiday City. Usually I'm closer to 3300 on weekends I stay out but this will take all of my Monday as well. But also remember I pay almost $300 a week in child support. So your 2900ish miles a week is equivalent to my bigger weeks

Right, we almost never get those kind of miles.. we hit 3k twice in the last 3 months.. usually it's between 2200 to 2800..

Are you training now, also? Cuz that would probably be why your always pulling high weeks too.

Nope not yet. Running solo. Again Opie knows I pay $300 a week in child support so if I'm only running 2800miles its equivalent to someones 2500miles or so. Im running recap also, but I dont shut down early often. I run my clock to the max every day. 10 hour breaks and im gone.

I think I'm gonna go silent for a bit. Plans were set in motion many months before I chose Millis, and they are falling apart because of my father's ridiculous complacency. If I post again, I guess that means I found a way to fix it. If not, that means I have to find a way to get to the finish line without help and I doubt I'll have time to post. I'll see y'all in a bit, either way. Until then, please be safe out there. Keep the shiny up and the rubber down. Peace guys.

Well, I guess I'm a liar, because I'm writing another post. It's therapeutic for me, always has been. Thanks @FalconsFan21 and @Suspect Zero for calling today, it meant a lot. Thanks also @keen98 for taking my call, I appreciate your time as always. Tonight I'm at the Richfield terminal. Actually I'm across the street at the good ol' Sawmill. Last time I posted an update I was in Beckley. I finished my load in Trenton and was given a beer load going to XPO in Menomonee Falls, WI. I haven't been there in a few months, and man has it changed. The sign-in location moved, and the traffic flow around the facility changed. I felt like an idiot, and probably looked like one to the other Millis drivers there. Oh well, it is what it is. I finally got to meet the mysterious IC driver in the black truck that works for us. Man what a nice guy :) He said that he's the only IC here, but I have also seen a blue truck, a white one, and a primer-red one pulling Millis trailers out on the highways, so that can't possibly be the case. My dock assignment and unload were ridiculously fast. I kid you not, from the time I got a dock and drove to it, opened my doors and slid my tandems and bumped the plate, it was 30 minutes when I had my paperwork. Whoa. They weren't messing around. Five stars and 10 thumbs up. Fun side story....I gave myself a 90 minute buffer, just in case Chicago traffic was bad. I had to stop at the Love's in Oak Creek to burn off some of that buffer, because the traffic was smooth as silk. XPO is a great place to deliver but they don't like it if you are really early. I wanted to carve about an hour off of my buffer and not be a pain for them. I saw @FalconsFan21 and didn't realize it was him until he called me later. That sucks, because that would have been a fun stop :) I have his truck number memorized now, that won't happen again. Right now I am wishing that I took the load Opie tried to give me, but my balls aren't big enough to take the chance of running out of time and making the load late. I'd rather keep my rep. I won't get a load til morning so I'm enjoying some of Milwaukee's finest. All caught up on paperwork and everything else that goes with the life. Gonna take some killer food back to the truck and then sleep the sleep of kings. Be safe out there guys. Keep the rubber side down and keep the stores stocked for all the car-tards that hate us. I will be home on Thursday night and I took an extra day for myself. Gonna sit down at the computer with my phone, a 12 pack, a pack of Camels, and get some answers. The movie title "no country for old men" is coming to mind. Move over, old man, I'll do what you couldn't. Get the f*** out of my way, thanks for playing the game. Your consolation prize is regret. Talk to y'all tomorrow.

Suspect Zero and FalconsFan21 Thank this.
