So much for sitting in my EZ chair? To nice of a weekend not to get the cars all shined up too.

Took Monday off so I could service the truck. Went and topped the tanks And loaded fresh bedding to get to work this morning. Then I walk out to the truck this morning and a puddle of fuel under the transmition and oil under the front diff. So in with new fuel lines today. Ordered a new front diff output seal for tomarow. I guess I'll just take the rest of the week off and piddle around in the shop. Maybe go visit family in Iowa this weekend?

Replaced all the marker lights on one side including the mirror. I still need to do the other side but ran out of time today. The old ones we regular bulbs, non serviceable and a little diffrent shape. I had a few that burned out. Peplacements were like $13 dollars each. So I got these on line, 20 for $100. I polished the panel to try and get rid of the hazzing of the outline of the old light. Looks good about 10 feet away. Still looks like crap up close.
Also truck has been starting week for the last month or so. I tested the batteries independent a couple of weeks ago and the all tested fine. Finally said screw it and bought 4 new batteries to replace the 1 year old 3 I had. When I pulled them today I tested them again and one was flatlined.............
The ones I got were on sale. 1000cca and 200ah for $85 each. I still need to get or make the cables for the fourth battery. I cleaned up the box, mounting bracket and bought all new bolts to mount the bracket.singlescrewshaker, Ruthless, Oxbow and 4 others Thank this. -
8 New rear tires (Dayton 610d ). Polished 3 wheels on one side. New tourque arms, checked bearing endplay on both axles and new spring slip pads.
The original Dayton 620s still had 50k miles in them but were wearing funny on the shoulders. I think it's because of the tourque arms? I will put them on the trailer and run them out there.
