    yep he is, if youre in a relationship and your partner cheats on u. its best to call it quits right away. or more cheatin and lies just keep rollin on. i wouldve quit right away, those kinda companies will always give u problems

    Alberta employment standards can take almost a year before they even take a look at your case. Their judgements have no teeth to them. There is currently something like 14 million dollars in unpaid judgements.

    Trucking companies always push you to be "my own company" so you can't take them to the labor board.

    The government, and their lap dogs, the media, are constantly telling us about their MYTHICAL ability to create jobs, why don't they just focus on making it so people that have jobs actually get paid. They couldn't do that though, it would offend the rich who help them get elected.

    Last time I took a guy to the labor board it was 9 months before they even called me. I did everything online though.

    What's your secret? Did you start the case by calling, or file online?

    So my Brother ended his Employment with Starway... guess what. Pay check on the first of the month was not only LATE it BOUNCED!!!!!
    The check that he was supposed to get on the 15th was received today. LATE! When taken to his Bank they have held it.
    The reason he ended his Employment is... he was driving North on the QE2 and his Stack FELL OFF. Middle of the highway. He pulled over, Went and retrieved it, put it in the bunk.
    He delivered his load. Headed home, the next Afternoon they called him to go do an in city delivery... the stack was still in the truck.
    They had all morning and their "mechanic" on site. Poor care of their equipment which could give the driver a ticket. He said no thank you.
