Yep. I hate pa. Not real fond of ct and mass either. It is what it is. The problem with throwing out stupid high quotes on loads you don't want to do is occassionally they say yes.

Actually, you would be shocked at what he's getting coming out. Probably even call him a liar.

Maybe but probably not. My disdain for that particular region outweighs money. They don't get me and I dont get them. I called it even and became a O/O and solved my problem. Lol.

I hear ya. I was shocked when I saw the load on the board but I'm more like you. I don't care to go to New England at all specially up 95.

Of course, but there's so much to learn along the way. It's one thing to learn the markets, business expenses, and so forth, but you have to learn how to drive the truck and negotiate all the other stuff out here before you take on that animal. I really think guys that work their way up and soak in all the knowledge are the ones that last the longest. It's really matters to have your personal expenses and life in order too. I have a wife at home that takes care of all that stuff there, so when I come home it's all done. All that really helps.

And that's why you quote stupid high. Normally when i go east i quote high enough to dh to Youngstown for my next load. However i can usually get a 1.80+ out of Connecticut back to a good market. But won't need to do eithet on this trip. Its a round trip load. Deliver new machine. Return used machine.
