I honestly don't think its a great rate. Obviously its a good rate or i wouldn't be going but its certainly not as good as the last two od loads we talked about. But its an easy load. I've hauled for this company several times and know exactly what to expect. So all things considered its tough to complain about just under 6k in my pocket after fuel and tolls in what amounts to a regular 5 day work week plus a day off in the middle due to curfew.

And heck, I've been called a recruiter many times in this thread. Isn't that synonymous with liar?

So just talked to the SNI Finance to see what the costs would be to lease a truck with Schneider. Understand I have excellent credit (825+), no debt (I own two houses) and a pretty good retirement. I'm pretty disappointed with the numbers.

$1050 a week truck payment and Maintenance costs for 18 months for a 2018 Freightliner with a residual of $103,000 to own at the end of the lease. Do the math and that's $196K for a Freghtliner Cascadia. I know that Schneider gets a discount on their trucks due to buying in bulk so they might pay $135-140K for the truck.

Though I know I could make a decent living I might have to reevaluate and take a hard look at a local gig! More to follow!

They don't care about credit either way. The payments would be the same if you had 650 credit.
