You talking about Bones? I myself never cared for the whole schtick he presents. Just irritating as heck to me. Nice guy, but geez....

Bones seems fake to me...the heavy country gomer pyle accent...does it like he's begging people....please like me

He's from Tenn-uh-see...a lot of native Tennesseens sound that way...or worse.
Every time I call into our corporate office I am expecting to hear "we'rea fixin to answer yer call directly(pronounced die-wrectly), pleese hold on a spell, we ain't 'bout to forgit 'boutcha, ya'll have a nice day now"Last edited: Aug 17, 2017
Knucklehead Thanks this. -
You wouldn't make the two hour drive to Tampa or Orlando twice a week to a company that you could earn real living at? Chances are you could bring the truck home anyways.
You'll never earn a good living with a junk OTR carrier that hires newbs. No matter how good of a driver you are or how hard you work. -
tucker and iraqralph43 Thank this.

It's called piece of mind. Local/regional work, seeing the same basic area would bore me to death and I would be miserable... (or more miserable)
I wouldn't drive 2 1/2 - 3 hours one way, twice a week unless I grossed 6 figures. To do that I would need another reliable vehicle which would need gas, insurance, maintenance, and most likely a payment...all coming of the little extra I would make.
There's not too many companies in FL that net $1000/wk in 5 days.Last edited: Aug 18, 2017

Is anyone else getting Preplanned way in advanced on long loads?

Tucker...if you do leave Crete...is there a way to quit...so they don't try to stick you with a truck cleaning fee
