A good mentor would have you sign up for your own rewards card and let you build your own points so you have cards ready to go when you get your own truck. Also, he isn't really hooking you up at all as team showers use the same amount of shower credits as a solo shower.

 

I don't even think about it. I don't do anything I'm not supposed to while driving and when I park for my 10hr break the wraparound cab curtain covers it. In all honesty though I couldn't care less if someone sees me in my unmentionables.

Unless your paying for the fuel as a trainie then you wont be getting shower credits but rather just reward points. Sure get the reward cards since you will be buying stuff at the truck stops anyway, but the shower credits come from fuel sales at most truck stops.

 

Use the trainee's rewards card every other or every third fill up. Trainee builds shower credits and points that way. But then the trainer doesn't get the points which is why few trainers will use any other card than their own.
