Define Northeast. I been across the GWB once in 6 yrs here. I rarely go pass PA. The only place I go in NJ is Burlington. Where do you run? Do you pay for tolls. Is that after your cut. You get my point. You seem to have a hard on for SNI. Soon as someone post something positive. Here you come and try too pick them apart. Dude there are people who are making it over here. Don't act like Mercer don't have the same problems.

Roll on... -
Schneider was pretty good to me, but they got greedy when they went public. It started with cutting staff and has progressed to the point of dishonesty, and obfuscation. We've all seen it. And for a long time I could roll along knowing that things weren't exactly as advertised by telling myself that I was still doing alright; but I guess everybody has their limit, and I've reached mine.
It's a shame, really. Schneider has a group of really good and thoughtful people, but it seems like they're willing to flush it all for the sake of beating Wall Street expectations. Everyone likes to hate on customer service because it has turned into a sad joke. But I remember a time when it wasn't so. When they were staffed properly. When the information and the remarks on the work assignments were reasonably current and accurate. Now they are neither. Personally, I'd hate to be in customer service right now......I imagine they're quite overwhelmed.
So, everything rolls down hill.......and no doubt Mr. Lofgrin and the really smart fellas in Green Bay have got a plan, I just won't be part of it. But it's all good. They won't miss me a minute......running off decent drivers and contractors is just the price of doing business these days.
And as my friend Sadwar would say, Roll on..........RStewart, Scott72, SingingWolf and 14 others Thank this. -
I was asking for clarification nothing else. It has been said in this thread dozens of times by guys that you did well because you run the northeast, so i asked you.
Your doing good and that's great, but as an outsider watching this thread it sure looks like you are the only one of these guys doing well. In fact, aren't you the only one of the regular posters in this thread still there? -
Good luck -
TennMan and freightwipper Thank this.

The Schneider plan as it appears to me is to make overhead cheaper and cheaper. That means cutting staff, hanging onto those old pos trailers and etc.
Also to keep more of the money when they broker the loads to themselves and hide the really good loads from us thus screwing ICs.
Schneider really isn't to blame, as been said a million times before and I'll say it again "say no to cheap freight".
All these drivers willing to work for peanuts is making it more difficult for the rest of us.
There's such a pool of drivers willing to run cheap Schneider decided okay let's keep more money for overselves, who cares if there's turnover.. for every 1 driver that leaves there's another two lined up willing to run cheaper.
I for one have done my part, I've said NO
enough is enough and thankfully see many others recently doing the same.scythe08, mxpx148, driverdriver and 3 others Thank this. -
