I currently own a truck, but I'm thinking about buying a second one. My question is can i take both of my trucks to Landstar and hire another driver to operate my second truck?
Multiple trucks with Landstar?

Not fully sure. You can find the lds for your driver or let them or you both work together on lds. You pay the driver.
Landstar does not have a 2 check system any more, since they weeded out all the old Ranger guys that were Teamsters years ago -
The man I'm leased to has trks on with Landstar. He has his own dispatcher looking for the lds. For his drivers

Keep in mind, any driver you want to have run your 2nd truck must also undergo the Landstar vetting process.

You can book your drivers loads or you can set them up a separate account that allows them to see the load board but not your settlement or fuel info, so they can book loads for themselves.
I'd try to find someone who has either worked at Landstar, or ran load boards somewhere else who no longer wants to be an O/O. Booking loads for yourself and another driver is very doable, but a huge headache.kee1227 Thanks this. -
