Second chance! Didn't pass CDL test at first company.

I have a permit only. Went to Trucking school Utah back on 2008 . Long short story surrender it. Is there someone out there who can I used his rig to do backing. I'm completely broke

 

Doubt any driver would let you borrow his or her truck to practice backing. Most people who get their CDL are broke or close to it. Just call a recruiter at one of the megas or a specific trucking school and they'll tell you your options.

If you're broke and need to retrain, have you looked into WIA? You might be able to get a grant to retrain at a driver school with tuition fully paid. Some schools will also do your road test so all you have to do after that is upgrade at the DMV.

 

im sorry to be soooo late. Yes WIA program . the thing is i have to expunge my record, pay a lawyer couple bucks. No speeding just yellow lights . here in Illinois if you cross a yellow light there are places with cameras that screw you counting as a red light. im tired of this state. There are bettter chances ( i think ) by going to apply with some other companies that have school like FFE, but before apply i have to clear my record. Other wise if i risk and they say now because all the ######## in my record i may not be able to apply againg because i gave them my records. Still have to save more money for a lawyer to make that step
