Do you have hazmat license? What trailers are available for purchase? Great Dane? Utility? And how much would it cost? Thank you

No hazmat. Trailers are 2017, pricing depends if it's our trailers or from a leasing company. Give me a call or text we can discuss more in detail.

Been driving for 4 years and a O/O for 2 years.I have been leased onto JRV Logistics since begining of June and bought a trailer when I leased on. I have pulled OD for local company and vans for another OTR All O/O company at similar percentages as well.

During my 3 months running my 1999 Freightliner FLD120 Classic and my 2009 Utility Trailer here I have had the freedom of booking loads providing the brokers credit was good. I use DAT and ITS. I run how, when and where I want without having to talk to anyone at JRV except to have a brokers credit checked and to Tell them everything on the Rate Con is as it should be after reading it so they can sign it and send it back. I run my own NASTC fuel card and my Own Base plates.

There is Full Transparency here like I have never seen and I also have never made as good of money anywhere else. I have not had a week where i have done less then $2 a mile ALL(Empty and Loaded) miles. I have had many weeks where I grossed over $3 - $3.43 a mile ALL(Empty and Loaded)) miles. $5800 -$6800 gross on those weeks. This last week I was 2022 ALL miles at $6150 gross $3.03 before 87%

If you can manage your truck and booking your loads then there is no reason you will not be successful here. Of course they will help keep you booked with freight should you need help or not feel like doing so that day.

Just an update from me. I posted back in Feb. I'm still here. I've been leased on since the beginning of the year. What the guy above had.said about transparency is true.

I'm pulling a dry van. I've learned the markets and am still learning every day how to run, where to run, how to maximize my revenue.

I've been grossing average over $6000 / week consistently since May. All on broker freight. I run how I want and where I want. With my expenses, I would have already gone bankrupt running for $1/mile plus fsc with the megas. Or most other carriers hiring O/Os on a per mile basis. But here, I'm thriving.

If you want to be more than just a driver, if you want the freedom to run your own small business, you'd do well here. No it's not easy learning how to book freight for yourself, if you've never done it, takes a lot of learning, but if you did, you would make a bit more than being leased to someone willing to hold your hand all the time.

Are you partnered with anyone that does lease purchasing on tractors?

No, currently we do not have lease program for trucks. Owner ops must have their own trucks to work with us.

    mxpx148 Thanks this.

I am in Kansas City. Does that work? What about insurance? I pay for nontrucking with the company I'm leased to otherwise I'm under their policy when under dispatch. Would I have to pay for the bigger policy and cargo insurance? How much is trailer rental? Am I responsible for a rented trailer's maintainance?
