    OOS would have crimped my day in VA. But I imagine they did not want it. Seeing it's a reefer container loaded for europe with turkey meat. They were so nice....

    I am all over that article. I had my own waterloo as it were to paraphrase...

    That driver knew dang well how heavy he was if he got zapped in Durand he was going around the 94 coup in wis.

    Bingo, I went that way every Monday out of Hastings down to Milw. Or north of the cities on Hy. 8. On a recent ride to the Cities, I took 8 across to I-35, and I was amazed,,ALL the heavy haulers were a goin' that way.

    Yeah, what's up with THAT??? I mean, isn't that the FIRST thing you would do if you have TWO blown tires AND are still partially in the travel lane?

    I think the driver might be a synapse short of making connection between the last two brain cells.

    I'm trying to remember what a NY axle weight ticket looks like...... IIRC, they ding a fella for over gross and then a separate violation for each of the axles that are over. Maybe this state does it different but how could he get 9 axle weight violations if he didn't have at least 9 axles?

    Over on each axle = 5. Over on drives = 1. Over on trailer group = 1. Over on inner bridge axle 2-5 = 1. Over on outer bridge axle 1-5 = 1. So there is 9 axle weight violations.
