Getting back into trucking after many years and need to get my CDL back. Millis is at the top of my list so far. Talked to a recruiter but would appreciate any info you can provide.
1. I live in PA so I would have to come back to test. They assured me that I would test in a manual so I wouldn't be restricted to automatics. Do trainers have manuals?
2. What are the average miles a week for OTR and Regional?
3. How much hand unloading is there?
4. Does the bonus cover all miles? What I mean is it says 2000 - 2500 pays $.03 bonus. If I get 2400, would the bonus be on 2400 miles or 400 miles?
In case anyone is interested they told me the following:
- Do not take CDL Grads
- Have to stay a year or they charge additional $2500
- Will test in a manual. Verified 3 times. Very important to me.
- Speed for new drivers is 66
- Rider Policy is 30 day wait. 10+ years plus insurance
Thanks!!!

I was quoted 53 a wk/1500 deductible for single, 80 a wk/3000 deductible, for me and my children. If you want answers, just call them. They are very nice and will answer your questions.
