I have never messed with the clutch, and understand it is not a regular clutch as in a manual trans.
No help their sorry........
I found since all the parts on the trans are the same regardless of mfg. I shopped around the different parts and found the KW dealer here was cheaper than the others on most things.
The guy who seemed to know the most about them worked on a lot of garbage trucks as that is what their set up is if it was not an Allison Trans. -

Eaton provides all their troubleshooting PDF's for free from their website. All you need to do is find what generation you have and download the manual for it.

The first attempt to fix it it went to Peterbuilt and Eaton diagnosed it over the phone. They did not help much. The mechanic must have a strong background in electrical or your wasting your money.
Possible output shaft broke ??? -

The Eaton ULTRAshift ( do pedal transmission without clutch pedal) clutch has no adjustment.
On the back of the adjuster you will see a wire sticking out of it you'll have to check with the dealer but when the wire is sticking out to a certain point the clutch is goneshatteredsquare Thanks this. -
The more I think about this as I have nothing to do today.
The shifting motors on top of the trans getting power to them ? -
From all that I've read it in here it sounds like the clutch brake is spinning in itself and needs replaced or it needs a new clutch. The reason its not throwing any codes for you yet is because everything is working as its supposed to and not letting it shift into gear since it still sees to much speed on the input shaft. This is why the gear display is flashing.
The clutch that comes with the autoshifts is a eaton solo clutch which is supposed to be self adjusting but they never seem to work that way for long. If it does end up needing a new clutch have them install a eaton easy pedal clutch, they are manually adjustable and have very few problems.
I've worked on many of autoshifts and ultrashifts and usually I could get one that had a bad clutch brake or clutch into gear by starting it with the clutch pressed in and while its cranking/ as soon as it fires dropping it into gear and it would go.shatteredsquare, CAPETOWN and TowHaul Thank this.
