Linde will provide you with some of the best safety training that is offered. Cyro or any Hazmat training is often boring or overwhelming. If you need, stop and ask for something to be explained.

Do you know if it's a union shop?

At my plant, I am not afraid to ask another driver or manager any question. Whether it's safety based or maybe how an unfamiliar customer is set up.
I have never found any driver to give out bad info in the hopes of someone screwing up. We at Lima are always looking to help one another. From routing, motels or processes.
Never be afraid to ask for clarification on anything ?

I don't have a clue if it's organized. Look for a Teamster office in a nearby town. Call and ask if they represent the Linde drivers at that location.

Your welcome. Keep up the thread. I'm anxious to hear about your adventures.
Just don't get discouraged with anything. Linde has its good and bad points. But you will always have a great benefit package, job security and a big smile on pay day.

I work for a competitor of Linde having hauled oil, chem, and fuel I can tell you its one the best tanker gigs by far. The work is clean and consistent, the pay is great and i like that we have mostly local runs with a few overnight trips here and there. All newer day cabs so when they do send us for overnights we get put in nice hotels. Just dont get too freaked out if you haul LIN, LOX, or LAR. The first time they show you the back of the trailer with all the valves, it can be overwhelming for some. You will learn that rig like then back of your hand as they will take the time to train you right.

Yes unless you deliver to a refinery which isn't very often around here.
