    Just a couple of quick questions, how much coolant needs to be drained to perform both of these items? Can it be reused?

    Instead of draining all the coolant from the engine, is it possible to pinch off the coolant line or plug it somehow?

    try to plug it. I think the hose have 5/8 ID.. not sure, measure it. will work I guess

    of course it can be reused. about 8 gallons must be drained.

    My ISX lasted 595k the first time. 400k the second time. I'll never go back to Cummins. They used to be such great engines too.

    what you mean by saying lasted? inframe was done? my dd15 was overhauled at 450k miles.

    what do I mean by lasted? I mean the wrist pin from one of the pistons drove itself into the block. Reconditioned block was installed as was a brand new head. This time it only lasted 400k miles and I broke the crank. They're trash.
