I'm in MN, we operated in the Midwest with some long hauls available, touching all 48 here. - if anyone wants to discuss trucking with Styer, I'd chat.

    Do you hire from anywhere?
What is the average length of haul?
How many days out before getting hometime?

    DriveStyer Thanks this.

We're able to hire those outside of MN - but with our freight network, out and back, it helps when drivers are in the midwest for home time.
No hard and fast rules on hometime here, like 7 working for 1 day off - most drivers work the M-F week, and take a 34 over the weekend.
On Average length of haul between 400-500 miles around 39%, 15% land in the 500-1000 mile, and about 10% for loads over 1000 miles. We have a healthy mix of midwest regional and long haul.

If you can't find anything local. Try Star Transportation in Tennessee. I hear they are an alright company and run a good Northeast regional program with good home time.
