I only ever pulled it once and wound up not needing the tail lift after all that grief figuring out how to use it. It's a pretty old trailer going by all the rust on it.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. We both are emotionally drained, but feel so relieved. My wife is a trooper, she’s getting right back into her routine. Me? I’m a wreck and have to leave today. But, it’s all good now, time to carry on.

Getting back into the routine/grind just may be the answer for you too. I find that keeping busy takes my mind off any worries.

    JohnBoy and ExtremeUnction Thank this.

Typical weekend here at the yard. Lots of trucks. Also a lot of short mile loads for Monday morning delivery. I have a short hop over to the Wytheville yard, followed by a short hop from there to Savannah. Was planning on an early start, but.....alas, not happening. I have a flat on my truck. No obvious nails or anything. Just flat. So here I sit, waiting for our wonderful mechanics to show up-1 1/2 to 2 hours from now. I should've just gone home instead.

The look on my face when I write up "LEFT side front outer drive flat" & the mechanic comes out and looks at the RIGHT side rear.

I would like to thank whoever left their lock on this BH load. Seems my day is ending like it began-waiting on shop folk to figure out how in the heck to get this monstrosity off. Tip-do not go to the Petro in Columbia SC I-77 xit 5 to have anything done. And yes, I knew it was there, but I forgot we have an account at the Boss shop in Wytheville.

    Redtwin Thanks this.

Twasnt me, I buy the cheapest 2 fer $5 locks that Wal-Mart sells as padlocks take a beating back there with rain and dirt from roadspray. When they start getting sticky I just throw it out rather than risk me not being able to unlock it one day.
