There's quite a few threads on DHT. If I where ever to go back to long haul dry van they would be at the top of my list. I like the lanes they run (southwest) and most of the drivers I've spoken too like the company.

I just started driving for them about a month ago. In the last two weeks I went from Mountain City Tennessee to Dallas Texas to Ohio to Joplin Missouri back to Ohio to Southern California and now back to Joplin Missouri. I am at about 8 thousand miles in 17 days. I am absolutely loving the company with no regrets about coming here. The only thing I can complain about is the deliveries to Ohio normally involve about 6 stops at the destination which killed half my clock for the day. But it did pay $15 per stop.

If there are any stops in addition to the original pick up in the drop off you get $15 for each extra stop along the way. All the stops are within 2 miles of each other. For example that load I did to Ohio had about 7 stops in addition to the original load, so I got an extra $105 on the check for doing the extra stops. The downside of that is that it took 9 hours off my 14 to get all 7 stops done so I didn't get a lot of miles that day.
Steel Dragon Thanks this.
