We've actually been listening all along - just didn't have the opportunity to make the recent changes until the market allowed for it. We 100% agree that it has been a long time coming. In our business model, the only way for the company to be successful is for our operators to be successful. Our interests have to be aligned. That said, we do believe that "conditions" (pay, detention, etc.) are going to continue to improve for companies & drivers that can supply reliable, safe, EOBR compliant capacity.

    You'r welcome??? LOL

Glad to see changes happening, albeit a little too late for those that left.

Compensation package is slowly improving, but alas, not enough to entice any of us back.

Edit.... the latest package doesn't seem bad for a mileage pay based system. You have to remember, we all left for a MAJOR change, mostly financial. Of course i cannot speak for everyone that has left, but after 8 years with JCT, the simple fact is that i had it made here. In order for me to leave, it had to be for a significant change that was worth leaving my status behind and start fresh.

I realize that. Was just messing with y'all.

While it might not entice some drivers back, it could help mitigate the amount of drivers leaving for "greener pastures".

With fuel costs in ca unbelievably high, I'll make 500 on 1700 miles if i late load it. 186 if i don't. It'll cost me 400 dollars of 3 dollar plus fuel to make it to a fuel stop that is under 3 a gallon. New mex casino is where I can fill up for a sane price. I don't think it's worth coming into ca at all. I topped of in phx at 2.56, made it to tracy with less than half a tank left. Heading to fort worth from salina ca.
