If you're taking BC Ferries from Tsawwassen (te wa sen... or close enough for white man), as noted, DON'T use the Peace Arch Port of Entry on WA I-5/BC 99 or you will spend two hours waiting while the nice US CBP agents go through your truck after you've had to turn around before the Canadian border... DAMHIK.
Do exit at MM 275 to take the Pacific Highway (BC 15) Port of Entry.
BC requires a "financial responsibility" permit for non-resident commercial vehicles. Links attached.
Commercial Transport Regulations (COMMERCIAL TRANSPORT REGULATIONS)
Commercial Transport Regulations (Division 6 — Non-resident Vehicles)
In case you also want to review any other information regarding commercial vehicle operation in BC, or contact Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement : CVSE - Home
Other than that, enter "Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal" into your GPS and go!Lepton1 Thanks this. -
