MACK E-6 Thanks this.

I don’t mind finger printing freight or doing some work. I was brought up in this industry by my uncle who taught me not to be afraid of working hard.
My brother hasn’t heard anything on the driver that hit the bridge yet, says he might never hear anything about it.road_runner Thanks this. -
wouldn't floor loading only instead of stacking freight lead to less damage and claims? idk how many times i've opened up a trailer and seen stacked freight that has shifted, fallen over, or crushed the freight beneath it

In @road_runner ’s picture, it’s obvious that someone didn’t do that. The bottom one on the left isn’t flat on top like the one next to it. That’s what led to that calamity. -
...that and neither side was strapped in on either top or bottom pallet. -
Drove one of our new KW's last night. It was a beast, pulling the hills with ease where I normally have to drop a gear in the other trucks. I didn't like the way the dash and switches are laid out, but that could just be because I wasn't familiar with the placement. It felt a little better quality-wise than the FL's, and had way more leg room than our Volvos. My biggest complaint was the seat. I get it's a bare bones fleet truck, but quit cheaping out on the seats! If I can't get the seat adjusted just so it makes for an uncomfortable trip. Overall, not a bad experience though.
Then on the way home, just a block from the house, an idiot teenage girl threw her door open without looking right in front of me. I was going slow enough that I was able to miss her when she jumped out, but the edge of her door dragged down the right side of my pickup. This just days after I got it back from the body shop because another idiot teenage girl blew a red light and rear ended me. I've never been so tempted by murder before in my life. Of course she lied her butt off to the cops. The look on her face was priceless when I mentioned I had the whole incident on video. Luckily for me she was insured, but I'm sick of dummies tearing my #### up.Gearjammin' Penguin and Bob Dobalina Thank this. -
idiot teenage girl. I'm pretty sure that's redundant.
Paccar's have odd seats. In the front between your legs, there are two buttons. One tilts the entire seat back and forth and the other one slides the bottom forward or back.
IME i get the back part all the way up and the ride height adjusted, then I fiddle with those two buttons and only then do I fiddle with the back adjustment. That seems to work quite well. But if one of those is off, you can never get the seat right. Just FYI
